Day Return Tour Program in Pindaya

PINDAYA-SEE KYA INN VILLAGE

After Breakfast, about 8:00 am, depart from the hotel and to go to Mine Thauk village by boat .After that walk to Baw La Bat (Inn Tha) village about (1 ½ hours). On the way you can excursion to the wheat, ginger and cheroot leaves plants. Baw La Bat village is situated at top of the small mountain. So there is a wonderful panoramic view from that hill to see the Inle Lake. Another 45 minutes later, you can reach to Pone Tel village of Pao national village. On the way, you can make excursion to native of Pao and oranges plantations. And then proceed to the Loi Khaw village about (30 minutes). Loi Khaw has three races of Pao, Inn Tha and Shan. Have lunch at that village. After lunch, proceed to the Dala Bin (Inn Tha) village about (11/2 hours). On the way, you can see the cheroot leaf garden and sugar cane plantations. Next (45 minutes), walk back to the Mine Thauk village. Your boat is waiting at the jetty and come back to your hotel. Totally, you have to spend about (5 hours) for that trekking trip.


2 Days/1 Night Tour Program
PINDAYA-YASAKYI-MAE NE TAUNG VILLAGE

Day1.

After breakfast, leave from Pindaya appr.8:00 am and have to walk 1 hour you will arrive Htut Ni, a Danu Tribal village. You can see tealeaf plantation, banana, papaya, cauliflower, oranges and other vegetables. And you can proceed to See Kya Inn village. Between Htut Ni and See Kya Inn villages, you will have to cross through a small mountain. After (1 ½ hours) you will arrive at See Kya Inn village. Have lunch at this village. After lunch you can proceed to Yasakyi village (appr: 2 hours walk) with palaung tribe people. Take a break at this village and you also can visit tolocal house and can chat with local people. And after that you can proceed your trekking to Mae Ne Taung (appr:1 hour). Have dinner and overnight at Mae Ne Taung monastery. Totally, you have to spend (4 ½ hours).


Day2.

After breakfast, you can talk with the headmaster of this monastery and leave from Mae Ne Taung and come back to Pindaya with another way. After 1 ½ hours, you will arrive Pin Sein Pin village with Danu tribal people. And proceed to Taung Paw Gyi village and have lunch at this village. Take a short break at this village and proceed to Htin Shu Gone (1 hour); on the way you will see beautiful scenery of vegetable plantations on the red clay mountains. In the evening, you will arrive to Pindaya. Have dinner and overnight at hotel.


2 Days / 1 Nights From Pindaya To Kalaw
Pindaya – Kyargone - Kalaw

Day 1. Pindaya – Kyargone (L,D)

After breakfast start your 2 days trekking trip to Kalaw. The road and trail goes through beautiful scenery. On the way visit the villages of Danu, Taung Yoe, and Shan. Your local station guide will introduce you to the villagers and will show you the traditional ways of life. Lunch in Shan Ywa a Danu village. The path goes up and down. Native along the way do the plantation for Potatoes, Coffee, Ginger, Malt Rice, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Sesame. Late afternoon you will arrive Kyargone a typical Taung Yoe village. Dinner and overnight at Kyargone.


Day 2. Kyargone – Kalaw (B,L)

After breakfast continue the trekking trip to Kalaw. It is only a 5 ½ hours trekking trip. The people in this area grow fruits; Arvogado, Banana, Oranges, Jack fruits, Papaya and Damson. Our guide will also show you the Ooh Meh Cave, 30 minutes before Zedigon. The Ooh Meh Cave is bigger as the Pindaya Cave, but you can go inside only as far as 30 to 50 meters. From Ooh Meh Cave, on the way stop and visit the villages of Taung Ni (Palaung) and finally to Pane Hne Pin, a Palaung Tribal Village with a population of 600 people. These people make their living from agriculture and occasionally from hunting, and live in long houses, with 4-5 families sharing the single storied structures. Lunch at Pane Hne Pin village. After lunch you have to walk for another 1½ hours to Kalaw. In this area people grow Oranges, Tea leaves and Cordial leaves.
